When Ecliptic Brewing expanded and took over the former Base Camp Brewery in Portland’s Central Eastside, they capitalized on their established design relationship with Koble Creative, working together to create an updated and refreshed taproom fitting of Ecliptic’s space-themed branding. The resulting dining room included the enhancement of the existing exposed concrete walls which were utilized as the canvas for the Craters of the Moon mural. Spray paint was the medium used to blend the texture of the concrete surface with the moon’s craters, tearing through the material world to privde patrons with a peek into the vastness of our universe. Features included custom designed and fabricated lunar lander dining tables and twinkling starlights in the ceiling, held over from the taproom’s Base Camp days
